Manchester City Football Club

Relocation to a new stadium in Eastlands

BCL’s brief was to undertake the relocation of Manchester City Football Club personnel from the old site known as Maine Road to the newly built City of Manchester Stadium over the closed season ensuring that the forward facing image of the Club remained unaltered during an emotional transition to the Club’s new home.

We were able to ensure that all departmental relocations followed a strict and confidential removal schedule with minimal disruption to the Club’s day-to-day business relations.

The move involved all commercial operations, the highly valuable and historic trophy room, physio treatment room and manager Kevin Keegan’s personal office suite.

The time critical move had to meet a number of pivotal organisation deadlines including the preparation and bookings for the inaugural match against Barcelona on 10.08.03 and the highly anticipated new kit launch from the stunning new Club superstore.

All sensitive IT equipment for the Club Ticket Office and support administration services was carried out by BCL's specialist IT division.
